And also how can I generate the runtime files from wincc engineering? Thanks

Maybe, you didn't understand my point, i need when i click over a button a pop-up window appear to ask are you sure you want to do that thing after i press that button and if i click yes on the pop-up do that event and set the value on that tag. Thanks

Thanks Hi Abdel, I'm not sure what you mean, but maybe this can help you: Create a faceplate which has two buttons, one with CONFIRM, the other one with CANCEL. When you click the "ADD system alarm" button, that faceplate visibility state turns to one. CONFIRM runs the command Showsystemalarms and afterward change the visibility state of the faceplate to zero, when you click CANCEL you don't run that command and only change the visibility state to zero. Hi Abdel, Well instead of when clicking that button you directly set that value in the HMI tag, you can instead use that button to change the visibility state (to visible) of a faceplate that contains the buttons OK and CANCEL. The OK button can set a value in the HMI tag and afterwards set the visibility state of your faceplate to invisible, and the CANCEL button can just change the visibility state of your faceplate to invisible without changing the value in your HMI tag. It works perfectly fine when you use faceplates, except in cases were the faceplate is in front of a trend or an alarm log or so on, then it will automaticly be moved to the back, behind other objects. Just concider it, it's an easy solution, experts might have better though. I haven't found either how to make the perfect pop-up window yet. (messagebox like popup) Kinds regards, Jens
