Once the project is activated in RunTime, I do not want the operator to be able to make anychange to the project. Please help me, I am using WinCC V6.0 SP2 farra

Danielle Posts: 1275 Rating: (123)	Hi, First of all, you can upgrade your system for free to v6.0 SP4. Just be sure to check compatibility with other Siemens software which are installed on that computer, and upgrade the ones you can. To prevent changes you should prevent the operator's access to WinCC Explorer... and to Windows as well... you should block the "Alt + Tab", "Ctrl + Alt + Del" and other key combinations on "WinCC Explorer" -> "Computer" -> "Properties", under the "Parameters" tab. All buttons which open Windows Explorer, WinCC Explorer, etc. should be protected with a password. Finally, you should use the "Autostart" funcion (on the Windows Start menu, access "Simatic" -> "WinCC" -> "Autostart"), to make sure that WinCC starts as soon as Windows start (with this, you won't have to start WinCC automatically, and WinCC Explorer will be closed while the system is under operation). If you selectthe user-defined installation option when installing WinCC you have the possibility of deselecting the WinCC CS option. Without the CS option installed there is no way to changethe project. In this case all the development would be carried out on a second PC.
