Open Start -> Programs -> Microsoft SQL Server -> Enterprise Manager. Expand the tree to see your server and the databases in it. Can you see a CC_ExternalBrowsing database ? |

That would explain why it does not work [:D] You only get this database when you install the Connectivity Pack Server. You could try installing (or reinstalling if it is already there). |

Yes it does. I've installed the connectivity pack client. As I've read in the help it is enough for reading the databases. Is the price different for client / server ? 10x once again |

Hi It is the same license for the server and the clients [:D] You install the Connectivity Pack Server and the license on the WinCC machine. You can then install the Connectivity Pack client on any remote computers that need it. You do not need to install a Connectivity Pack license on these remote computers. Salma |
