I have a S7-1500 CPU, TP700 HMI, ET200SP distributed I/O connected via PROFINET.

I have a 'System Diagnostics View' and an 'Alarm View' setup on the HMI. I also have an Alarm button setup with @DiagnosticsIndicatorTag for the process tag, mode: graphic, two graphics in graphic list.

When I disconnect the PROFINET cable, after 30 seconds I get an alarm on the diagnostics view, alarm view and on the alarm button. GREAT!

Question 1: Can I change the time delay of 30 seconds?

When I place the CPU in Stop I can see the stop indication on the diagnostics view. I do not get an alarm on the alarm view or the alarm button.

Question 2: How can I get the stop indication to set off an alarm?

I have read many posts on how to detect a CPU Stop on the HMI. I have setup a blinking indicator in the past. My point is: if the diagnostics view is detecting that the CPU is in Stop, how can I use that information to set off an alarm?

Thank you for the response. The method in the link works as a separate Alarm with PLC Run/Stop status.

I would prefer to use the same Diagnostics indicator, but I now have a working PLC Run/Stop Alarm.

There has to be a way to change the 30 second delay on communication loss. I think I have read every S7-1500 / Comfort panel diagnostics manual with no answer.
