hifly Posts: 5 Rating: (0)	I can't pass everything because the "Next" button is inactive until i have WinCC 2005. If i try tomark "Full Installation" or "Custom Installation" or "Minimum Instalation" then appears window with notice "Please uninstall the previous versions or other edtitions before you install this version of WinCC flexible 2007" (you can see that in the file which i have attached to this reply) Attachment installation_WinCCFlex_2007.JPG (182 Downloads)

Darius Platinum Expert Joined: 9/28/2005 Last visit: 11/5/2024 Posts: 2957 Rating: (242)	Now I can't remember exactly what I did. I think that WinCC Flex 2007 installation did everything for me and don't ask for uninstall. I had WinCC Flexible 2007 ADVANCED version. Maybe this is the key ?

Darius Platinum Expert Joined: 9/28/2005 Last visit: 11/5/2024 Posts: 2957 Rating: (242)	If it isn't very big problem for you try to uninstall 2005 version and install 2007. Maybe everything will be ok. I just don't remember the steps. If it will be not ok, you can install 2005 version again.

I really don't remember if 2007 version did everything for me. I just put 2007 installation, run it and just pressed "Next" and have what I want. Maybe you could try to contact "Support request".

Can i install in the same PC in the same session WinccFlex 2005 and 2007, because i have differents clients each one with WinccFlex05 and the other with WinccFlex07, What can i do? Each client want his programs in the Version that he has in his PG, so i cant use WinCC Flex07 only because the client with "05" only use this version Hi, I'd like to point out a nice feature in WinCC 2007. File > Save as version. This saves WinCC 2007 projects as WinCC 2005 ones. So try it out, take one of your WinCC 2005 projects, open it with 2007 which will update/migrate the project. Now in WinCC 2007 use Save as Version. Select the name of your choice and save. Zip the project, send it to your client and tell him to download it. See if it works on his PG with his panels without having to update. It's a nice feature, try and see if it can work for you....... Hope this helps Jeebs
