WinCC Flex MP370 Image issue

TheDesertDog Advanced Member Joined: 4/8/2008 Last visit: 7/12/2023 Posts: 29 Rating: (2)	I've upgraded from WinCC Flex 2007 SP1 to WinCC Flex 2008. Now when I try to download a project it tells me my image must be updated. When it looks "C:\Program Files\Siemens\SIMATIC WinCC flexible\WinCC flexible Images" for MP370_V7_2_0_3.IMG it only finds MP370_V7_2_1_0.img and that is the current version on the machine that suposedly needs to be upgraded. I've searched my entire hard disk and the WinCC 2008 install DVD and only found MP370_V7_2_1_0.img. What now?

Wizard Diamond Expert Joined: 4/24/2006 Last visit: 9/14/2023 Posts: 8592 Rating: (1132)	Hi, When you are using WinCC flexible 2007, the image of MP370 is v7.2.0.3 When you use WinCC flexible 2008 it will be v7.2.1.0 See also this link: http://support.automation.siemens.com/WW/view/en/21742389 Unfortunately wincc flexible 2008 isn't mentioned When you want to use WinCC flexible 2008 to download project, you should use image v7.2.1.0 Please perform an OS update if necessary Best regards, Wizard
