Wincc flex to CPU315-2 PN/DP connection

Vido Posts: 10 Rating: (0)	Hello! I have been trying to establish a connection to S7-300 CPU315-2 PN7DP from Wincc flexible over ethernet, but without success. The connection works fine in Step7 where I can monitor variables. The addresses in Connections on Parameter tab in Wincc flex are all set correctly. Is there some kind of other hardware/software requirement for Wincc to establish a connection ? Thank you in advance for any answers. Greetings

Can you post a Screenshot of your Connection Configuration of WinCC flexible and maybe a list that contains the Configuration within the PG/PC Interface as well as the IP Configuration of your PC? Vido Posts: 10 Rating: (0)	I have made the screenshots you asked for, I think the PG/PC interface must be set correctly othervise I could not observe variables in Varible table. I have checked everything with network again, but when I try to add a tag from Symbol table of the project I get: Error : No connection for PLC "\Step7\kalman\SIMATIC 300 Station\CPU 315-2 PN/DP" found! J_Bell Posts: 5822 Rating: (412)	Dear Vido, I just wonder, is your Project embedded in STEP7? If so I wonder why you do not see the remote Station, the partner or the node? If you work embedded you surely have missed to add the HMI IE Interface in the HW Config of the WinCC flexible RT in STEP 7, please check the HW Config in your STEP 7 Project. Best regards J_Bell

Vido Posts: 10 Rating: (0)	You were completely right, I have forgoten to add the IE general in HW config. I have now added it and I can see the station in Wincc. I knew I was probably missing something, because this is my firts time working with Wincc flex Thank you very much!
