Wincc Flexible Redundancy

Hello Anguraj,

It is possible to use 1 WinCC Flexible RT with 2 redundant PLCs.
How?
You can connect both PLCs and PC over a single MPI network.
You will have to buy a CP 5611 for your PC.
You can use Change connection function to switch between the 2 CPUs.

If you are usingMPI as aredundant link then I prefer to leave it as it is and go for Ethernet solution.
You will have to buy Ethernet CP for each CPU and you can use the commercial Ethernet port in your PC.
I also recommend Ethernet if you have much power tags to transfer.
