Hi. I do not claim to have the answer. I am working on guess work now. (Experienced users are welcome to jumo in.) You might have better luk in the SIMATIC WinCC (TIA Portal) group as you are using WinCC (SCADA) under TIA PORTAL. If they all were running Modbus TCP, these should work as one network. If you are using a PC with the SCADA running, you probably could put in a second netwrok card and link with a second link. Just take care what type of SCADA license you have and how many tags you use. I am not sure what the PLCs will do if you do not have the same protocol. Even if you are using the same hardware link, virtually you should be able to keep them apart by playing with the IP addresses and address masks. The alternative is to have a switch that isolated the PLCs from each other. This is probably not helpful - hopefully someone else will be of more help. Greetings. w |
