WinCC Funtion Trend Control Properties, Range select "Automatic"

7001 Posts: 12 Rating: (0)	Hi, I made a trend usingWinCC Function Trend Control. InProperties of WinCC Function Trend Control, in tab Y-Axis I checked Automatic box for Range selection. I expected the reange wouldaroundthe tagvalue changes, but actually the the low limit of the reange always 0. In this case it is hard to see my trend changes. I madethe sametrend using WinCC Online Trend Control, and selected Automatic Range selection. It worked perfectly as I expected. Why it does not work so good in WinCC Function Trend Control? HJ

Salma Gold Member Joined: 9/27/2005 Last visit: 11/27/2007 Posts: 1398 Rating: (151)	I tested on my machine and it works fine. The trend shows the last 100 points and sets both the X and Y scale automatically! Are you waiting at least 100 tag value changes from the system starting up ?

7001 Posts: 12 Rating: (0)	Yes, I waited till 2000 tags. The automatically range selection works on ON LINE TREND. For FUNCTION TREND, Y-Axis range always starts from 0, therefore my trend curve always stays on the top of the window and hardly to see it changes. Are you using the WinCC V6 SP3 or SP4? HJ

I notice that you have two trends (pens) configured on the trend control. Please try deleting one and testing. So just have one pen on the trend, showing your two tags. Does this make any difference ?
