WinCC General Protection Fault

abhi@ct Posts: 10 Rating: (0)	Dear All, I am using WinCC k6.0.3.0 version. I have used WSASocket function of Winsock library in one of my C-Action script. I am able to compile the script successfully. But when i am executing the script: i am getting following error: F689 (12) : general protection fault.. ====================================OnErrorExecute==================================== SystemTime:(ThreadId 5796)2009-04-27 08:26:04.920 dwErrorCode1:(ThreadId 5796)1007001 dwErrorCode2:(ThreadId 5796)4100 szErrorText:(ThreadId 5796)Exception in Action szErrorTextException:(ThreadId 5796)access violation szApplicationName: (ThreadId 5796)PDLRuntimeSystem bCycle:(ThreadId 5796)acycle szFunctionName:(ThreadId 5796)@10 lpszPictureName:(ThreadId 5796)NEWPDL1 lpszObjectName:(ThreadId 5796)Button2 lpszPropertyName:(ThreadId 5796)(NULL) dwParamSize:(ThreadId 5796)12 ====================================OnErrorExecute==================================== WSASocket is used to create a windows socket. Please tell me where am i wrong?. The error is thrown on execution of line which has WSASocket call. The same script works very well in Visual Studio Editor. Regards, Abhishek

As you wirte is your problem caused by your WSASocket. When your socket runs on Visuall Studio, the not means it runs on WinCC, because some objekts and classes are not availible and you have to register some .dll, whose function you need. regards cuumulus
