WinCC-in language conversion through Text Library!!

AMJ Posts: 87 Rating: (1)	Actually I am doing one project in which I have to convert all the text that is used in the projectfrom English to Spanish also I have to convert all the alarms into spanish language.To do this, I followed the below given way: 1. Open the text library. 2. Put all the spanish taxt corresponding to the English text. 3. then File --> Export As 4. Gave the new name ( Alarms) and system automatically generated the Alarms.csv file into my WinCC project folder. 5. After that, I tried to import the spanish text from theAlarms.csv file into the our projectbut not happening.I export the Alarms.csv file through the easy language but when I try to import so I get the below attached error that says"Import file cann't imported through easy language". This is the complete procedure that I followedbut I have some below given query relalated with this problem: 1. Is this the correct way to work through the text library? 2. Will the text library automatically convert the language when I put the required language text into the text library? Attachment error.JPG (519 Downloads)

You can import and export the data to and from CSV files using the menus in the Text Library Editor. 2) The Easy Language Tool is used to import / export texts from graphics (i.e. .PDLs). So you should use Easy Language Tool to export all picture texts to a CSV file, edit the CSV file with the Spanish texts and then use the Easy Language Tool to import the CSV file.] Also please read this FAQ -> http://support.automation.siemens.com/WW/view/en/492945 You should not confuse the two! So you cannot export a CSV file from the Text Library and import it into your PDL using the Easy Language Tool. Both editors use different layouts so this is not possible.
