drozer Posts: 13 Rating: (1)	Hi I instoled WinCC and opened. But when I tried to open a new project or excisting I can't do that and a pop up windows occures saying: Srever start failed. drozer Posts: 13 Rating: (1)	Hi I was traing to fix my problem with DCOM settings, and I read some of coments here on teh forum and I find what was the problem. But now when I try to open WinCC, a pop-up window shows (see attachment 1) and when I clikOK, another pop-up window shows (see attachment 2). Do you know what is the problem? I don't know the reason for this, but I had the same problem and solved with reinstall WinCC. Please, can you tell us, how you solved previous problem. This info maybe will helpful in the future for someone. regards

drozer Posts: 13 Rating: (1)	Offcourse thet I can tell you, but I found this here on this forum. However here is how it's going: Start/run...(TYPE:dcomcnfg.exe, and press ENTER), a new window appears-choose:Component services/Computer-right clik on My Computer/Properties/Default Properties (check DCOM). And that is it. I'll try to deinstall WinCC and install again and will tell you what will happen. Best regards

drozer Posts: 13 Rating: (1)	Hi when I tried to deinstall WinCC at the end a pop-up window shows telling me that LicenceManager couldn't deinstall. Is this normal procedure? What shell I do now? ShouldI continue the procedure of deinstaling and instaling WinCC again? best regards

But later when you decide to uninstall WinCC, it's not possible to uninstall ALM. You can do this manual later. In your case I suggest you to continue with uninstallation of WinCC. regards

I have install before WinCC Flexible before. Can WinCC Flexible create this problem or not? Should I deinstall them all and install first WinCC and after WinCC Flexible?

Can you open this project on other PC? Or did you try to create new project? And which version of WinCC did you use? About WinCC Flex - this can be problem, here you can find a lot of threads that is connected with this. Personally I can't say yes or no. I never did use on the same time this softwares. regards
