WinCC Installation Problem

Nithin Posts: 48 Rating: (0)	I need help. I installed WinCC v6.2 with all procedures in the accompanied manual. Includes A new Win XP Proffessional SP2 installed with NTFS drives computer, Microsoft Message Queuing XP Hotfix with accompanied CD, Simatic Manager v 5.4 sp2, SQL Server 2005 with hotfix(Also with winCC) and finally WinCC v 6.2 No Errors with installation. But after successful installation and restart, I created a new project. Closed WinCC Opened again!. Project won't open and shows, "DATABASE CONTEXT DOESN"T EXIST OR IS INVALID. For every new project this is the problem. ie, All projects open only once. The same Message comes Can u help me? Is it a bug or i left anything?

Nithin Posts: 48 Rating: (0)	No, There is no other software except, Simatic Manager v5.4 sp2 and WinCC v6.2 sp2 Should we have to manually configure anything in SQL Server? I installed SQL server. Rebooted and then started WinCC installation. Please help me urgently

If not please check the attached file. Moreover it is preferred to turn the firewall of till the installation end. Last I recommend to reinstall a fresh Windows XP again and try sometimes errors occurs during Installation Attachment WinCC V6.2 Installation Notes 2006.pdf (70 Downloads)

Nithin Posts: 48 Rating: (0)	Hello sir , thanks. But the problem was another thing. I hadn't the LAN driver installed. As soon as i Installed it the problem got away.
