WinCC logout/login issue

alceu Posts: 5 Rating: (0)	Dear all, I am using the following script to call a login dialog through a button: #pragma code("pdlrtapi.dll") #include "pdlrtint.h" #pragma code() if ( SSMIsUserNameEnable( lpszPictureName )) { PDLRTAllowSetForegroundWindow(NULL,NULL,NULL); PASSLoginDialog (SSMGetScreen( lpszPictureName )); } This is used mainly for changing the current user. The problem of the dialog is the following: if the new user types in a wrong password. The dialog closes and the old user is not logged out. So the new user may operate the system without entering any password and using the username of someone else. Of course, if all users logout after operation that should not happen. I also configured all users to logout automatically after some idle time. But still, entering a wrong password should lead to logout, shouldn't it? regards!

Ikkezelf Posts: 1084 Rating: (72)	I don't think it should lead to a logout. You could change your script behind the button in a way that it first logs out the current user, and afterwards let your new user log in. with regards, Ikkezelf

zd83 Posts: 36 Rating: (0)	can u let me know how i will identify the usernames and passwords? when i pushed on the log in button the log in pop up comes but i don't know what is teh usaername and password. from where do we identify them?
