WinCC performance when using C script

It will have major affect to performance if you will use non standard update cycle for your scripts. Number of scripts also affect performance, but if they are simple and small in quantity then it will not be big problem.

When you don't have measuring points, then you have to check the valve position. If valve is opened, then you have to "copy" the state of the other sector. You could also check again for the measuring, but then you are reading the same tag twice. To "copy" the state from one object to another, you have to define a name for it. Then carefull when copying objects, as WinCC will change their names because name can not be the same for more than 1 object.

As well as Dariussaid, you have to pai attention when you use scripts. They take affect in different way depending how developed: not only fromtime update, it's depend what did you do inside function (p.e. read variable from plc or call ather subfunction ... ) I seen you have not so heavy graphic page but lot of pipes, try to use Dinamic Dialog at first and use C function for what is not possible with it Regards
