Dear All,

As mentionned I've an issue on some customer machines (all of them): I've a special account to execute WinCC.

If that account is local administrator, everything runs just fine.

If I remove administrator priviledge (requested by customer IT), graphic runtime won't start.

I tried on our system, I'm not able to reproduce it even if I play a bit with local policy to match customer settings.

What could be the problem ?

Yes they are. I did not mention it but the account that i use is a domain account.

good eve, 

        wincc runtime always run in administrator login only. if you are going to run the wincc runtime different user, that use should have the access of that software. admin give the rights to access software and program backup path.

       you can enable the access for user login in computer->right click->manage->user->

That was true few years ago, when cybersecurity was not a major requirement in production networks.

Now if you read manuals, WinCC is supposed to be executed (not installed - installation requires administrator rights) with normal accounts.

In that case, I recommend removing your PC from the domain, performing the WinCC installation again (as administrator) and then returning the PC to the domain.

System is not domain controlled.

Must the user with no local administrator of the machine be in some specific groups?
