In an Expression If i use the tag directly, ignoring the prefix with @NOTP:: it is working fine

But if i want to use the prefix in the Expression and write it like in the first example, the tag is red again, but i cannot compile the visualisation because of a missing tag

I tried writing it with a full stop punctuation - like so '._HMI_SW' > 3
and it compiles, but the animation doesn't work, it seems like the variable is always 0. I tried writing the whole tag, without the @NOTP:: like so 'M1_FI_HMI_SW' > 3
It doesn't work again which tells me that the prefix is changing it to 'M1_FI_M1_FI_HMI_SW', so that must mean that the prefix is working, and if i could compile it with '_HMI_SW' it would have worked, but i can't.

The behavior that the tag is red is a normal system behavior, because the system don’t now the the complete tag name. The tag name is created during runtime from tag prefix and suffix.

Hi,

I think what he did is to create "fake" internal tags named as the suffix to trick the compiler so that it can compile. Not sure it works in every case (can you name a tag starting with a . for instance ?). In his case it started with a _ .

I do think that is stupid, it should be a warning in the compilation not an error.

I am not confused by the red color, the screen does not pass compilation, and I can not start the runtime project 

I have 2 tags '"DI_T1.CD.LJFast"' and '"DI_T1.CD.LJFastU/D"' 

my tag prefix            DI_T1.

my expressin is       'CD.LJFast'+'CD.LJFastU/D'

and it's not working
