WinCC Pro V13 SP1 Upd 4 Aninamtion data flicker when screen activate

Hello,

I am using WinCC Pro V13 SP1 Upd 4 and I am having a issue when changing the screens all the animations flicker from the default (configured) state to the current state of the PLC tags.  Is there a way to keep this from happening?  I have tried changing the scan rate and have set the screen to "Uponchange" with the same results.

Hi,

sounds like your tag has a higher refreshing rate than your screen.
Where did you try to adjust the scan rate? (Or which one, just need some more info here. ;) )

I would suggest to check the screen cycle of the screen. Each screen can have a separate one.
You can find it under Properties > Miscellaneous > Screen cycle.
The default value is 2 seconds, which might be to slow. What happens if you match it to your tags scan rate? Is the flickering still there? Is it different?

It s  a good trick to use the Visibility of the Layers in the Screen. This flicker behaviour i Know also from WinCC Classic in a few cases.

You can set all this Objects to a specific layer.

Then go to the Properties of the Screen -> Layers-> and unset the RT of the specific layer

Then the Layer is visible in Engineering but in Runtime not as default.

then you can set the Visability of the Layer with a VB Script when the Screen is loaded.

Perhaps this helpy in your case too. If not perhaps someone else know a better way.
