WinCC problem : faceplates appear as "unknown type" at the start of the app

midoner Advanced Member Joined: 7/10/2016 Last visit: 4/22/2023 Posts: 13 Rating: (0)	Hello I'm using WinCC prof V14 for my app, Everytime i start the app i have all of the faceplates (9 faceplates in the starting screen) marked as "unkown type" and white rectangles. This occur only the first time i start the PC where installed my app, If i exit runtime and re open the app everythuing is OK, The problem occur only the first time i start the app with a new start for the PC I tried to reset instances and types for the project library but that not worked, I created new types based on the old one but i have the same problem. I am using TIA Portal V14 under windows 7 64 bits Any suggestions Please ?

bg2492 Diamond Member Joined: 5/16/2014 Last visit: 9/12/2022 Posts: 7298 Rating: (2187)	Hello midoner, "unkown type" and white rectangles with a small red cross means usually that the object-files (.dll or .oll) are not registered in the operation system. Was the project created in an older version before. i.e. V13 ? In this case, the picture may not yet migrated to the newer version. Regards Georg Berghof
