WinCC Prof V12 SP1 Failed to start simulation

WvanElten Regular Member Joined: 5/8/2013 Last visit: 9/24/2019 Posts: 12 Rating: (0)	Hi there, Today I installed the SP1 update of WinCC V12 Prof. Only to find out that the simulation won't start. Had a realy easy setup to test some thins in WinCC V12 and get comfortable with it. Yesterdag the simulation would start as it should. After the SP1 upgrade todat everything went well. Opening the project asked me to update the project to V12 SP1. And that went well. But... Now when I want to start the simulation I get an error message saying "Failed to start simulation". Compilation went ok. No info at all about why the simulation failed. What could be the problem?

WvanElten Regular Member Joined: 5/8/2013 Last visit: 9/24/2019 Posts: 12 Rating: (0)	Did restart my pc every time the installer asked for it ;) How to do a rebuild all? EDIT: Re-installed the WinCC V12 SP1 as repair. Now it does work.

RNunes Posts: 3 Rating: (0)	you are using a 1200 cpu? I ask because in the simulator version 11 only works if you use a 300 or 400 CPU.

I ask because in the simulator version 11 only works if you use a 300 or 400 CPU. As the thread is named 'WinCC Prof V12 .." we can assume it's the HMI Simulation which doesn't work, not the PLC
