WinCC Prof V13 SP1: VBS selected column in Recipe view?

Hi,

Background

I have set up a recipe with 35 columns (elements) and 30 records and assigned this as the Data source of a Recipe view control.

Problem

I need to disable editing in some rows (records) in two of the columns in the Recipe view control.

The only method I have come up with this far is to toggle the ReadOnly property of the columns according to the selected row and column.

I have used the event Selection changed (= OnSelectedIdChanged) where the row is indicated in the id parameter. Code looks like this (executed conditionally depending on the value of id):

 Screenitems("Recipe view_1").GetColumn(3).Readonly=True

Problem is that since there are different rows that needs to be protected in the two columns, I also need to know which column that is selected.

Question

How can I evaluate which column that is selected, in the Selection changed event in a Recipe view control?

Yes you can.

you can use the property "StatusbarElementText" of the Recipe View.

First you have to set the "StatusbarElementindex" to the correct value (in default Configuration 1).

then the Property StatusbarElementText gives you the Text which is shown in the Statusbar and you  can use this information to find out the selected Column ID.

(Feels a bit odd having to extract the column number from the string in the Status bar, but it works.)
