Wincc Professional Doesn't reconnect with PLC

My problem is that the antennas periodically lose communication for short periods (less than 1 minute) and when they reconnect wincc does not communicate with the plc even though there is communication (checked from TIA porta accesible devices ).To restore the communication i need to restart wincc, is there a way to restore automatically ? I used often TCPIP Communication to several different PLCs and the reconnect worked for me. So perhaps check and install the latest Upd. (Which Versions do you use?) -> Check also channel diagnosis, perhaps you can see any further information here Bye Murof

In the center, however, I can find the plc in the accessible devices of the TIA portal. and after I find it from the accessible devices. Then also in wincc the plc reconnects by itself as seen in the bottom of the image. Ιs there a way to do this automatically? Attachment WinccProblem.jpg (523 Downloads)

The version released for WinCC Professional V15.1 is SIMATIC NET V15.0 SP1. On the other hand, the most basic license allows communication with up to 8 S7-PLCs, and in case of exceeding this number, communication may not work at all or may be unstable.

Murof Platinum Expert Joined: 8/3/2009 Last visit: 4/24/2025 Posts: 15350 Rating: (1895)	Hello Gertis_M there are to different updates, one for engineering Station TIA Portal (LINK) and one for the WinCC Professional Rutnime (LINK). you should install both to get the latest Version of your TIA Version.
