WinCC Professional V13 SP1 – Simple Sample: Showing Recipes as X Y Trends

“Simple Sample” are small projects that demonstrate simple features. The target is give a quick overview about the theme and be used as start point for related discussions. Follow there are a short description and the configuration main steps.

Description:

In this simple sample, a recipe is showed as x y trend.

Requirements:

WinCC Professional V13 SP1.

Project with a minimum configuration (stop button, tags, recipes, etc. See also “WinCC Professional V13 SP1 – Simple Sample: Trends“ xxx and “WinCC Professional V13 SP1 – Simple Sample: Recipes” xxx).

Configuration main steps:

• Create a recipe (Recipe_1: project tree → WinCC Professional → Recipes → Recipes → <add new>

• Set the recipe properties (Properties → General → Communication → Communication Type = No communication)

• Create one Element for each controller tag (hidden tab – see images – elements → <add new> → Recipe_element_1, Recipe_element_2)

• Create Data Records (each data record represents a group o element (tag) settings).

• Place a Recipe View element on a Screen (Toolbox → Controls)

• Configure the Recipe view (properties → General → Data Source = Recipe_1)

  
  

• Place on screen the object “F(x) Trend view” (Toolbox → controls)

• Configure the Trend view:

  • Trend View → Properties → Trend → <Add new>

  • In the created line, configure Data Source:

    • Source Type = Recipe

    • X values = Recipe_1\Recipe_element_1

    • Y values = Recipe_1\Recipe_element_1

    • Update cycle X = 1s

    • Update cycle Y = 1s
