Maybe someone can help me out or has the same problem.

I am working on a TIA V14 Professional and try to create a dynamic text list with strings, which are located on the plc. Did the exactly same thing in a Advanced and everything was working fine.

But in the Professional version the pop-up, where i can select to use a parameter instead of the static text, is not showing the option for this.

I tried to the the exact same thing as in this article https://support.industry.siemens.com/cs/ww/en/view/57025748

The strange thing is, i cannot select a wstring as my string variables in the plc are strings indeed.

After some time searching through the web i found a possible solution:

Seems that the professional version does not have the dynamic text-list function. You have to built it yourself with a script and a combinationfield.
