Auto2018888 Posts: 70 Rating: (0)	Hello ! I am using TIA WinCC Professional V14 Upd5. I want to use WinCC Runtime Professional as OPC-server. I want to connect to the WinCC professional v14 opc ua server with an OPC client ( KEP ) and i am wondering if i have to activate the winCC OPC UA server and how can i do it ? Because when i did the installation of WinCC RunTime Professional, i added the tools OPC UA server. and now i can't find any OPC UA server Attachment Capture.JPG (706 Downloads)

Murof Platinum Expert Joined: 8/3/2009 Last visit: 4/23/2025 Posts: 15338 Rating: (1894)	Hello The OPC UA Server always runs if you have installed it and activated the Runtime in the Runtime Installatoin. IF you only start the Runtime in the Simulation mode in the Engineerng System then the OPC UA Server will not run! -> You have to load the Project to the Station with the Runtime Installatoin from the RUntime DVD (as in your Screenshot) then start the Runtime and the OPC UA Server will run automatically.
