I'm using VMware Workstation 16 Pro to host Win 10 as a guest operating system. Automation project (TIA V17) contains S7-1500 CPU and WinCC Professional.

Teamviewer VPN works perfectly when online access to remote CPU is needed even from VMware guest. That's really great but so far I've not been able to download WinCC modifications the same way.I guess it should be possible? Now second best option is to make Extended download to device.

I can see both host and guest computers on Simatic Shells. But as soon as host opens up the VPN, guest computer disappears from the host shell and then you are not able to download WinCC to remote computer.
