winCC Redundant state of server

This tag is set to 1 on the master and 0 on the standby. Or the @RM_MASTER_NAME tag that contains the computer name of the current master.

I even accomplisched a redundant server pair, both in runtime, both having the master tag set to 1 [:(] Almost all system tags that are created within wincc regarding redundancy are not reliable. For my project I have written my own scripts to determine who is what. with regards, Ikkezelf

Ikkezelf Posts: 1084 Rating: (72)	Hi, What I did, which has worked for me all the time now... Open the alarm logging and search for the wincc system messages. Within the system messages look for the two messages stating "redundancy error/redundancy oke" These two messages are just behind each other. Mark the checkbox (within the properties of these two messages) "Triggers an Action" . This checkbox wil result in the file gmsgfunc.fct to be run. Within the gmsgfunc.fct you need to ask in code if message 1 or message2 is triggered. If so then set a boolean tag to 1 or zero. Use this boolean tag to display the redundancy failure or not. Hope this makes sense. regards.
