There are multiple ways to do this. Remote access is purely an IT field. You have many ways to do this. But you canuse a VPN connection through internetor even a dial/up connection to remote connect to a PC. So you whould consult your IT guys which method they prefer. But noneed to say thatdial-up would be really slow. Method 1 You can use WinCC Web Navigator option to publish the project on to webpages. Then throgh VPN connection, you would be able to access the webpage. Method 2 You canuse RDPto connect to a PC, onceyou are in the network. So to get to network again you can use VPN. There are other, not so secure, ways to route a connection to a particular PC using the main router. But you can make it more secure by firewalls. Once you are in the network you can use RDP, if you login with the same username and password with which WinCC is running, then the screen on the local PC looks like in locked mode. But the remote PC will be seeing the same login instance that was seen on the local PC. As soon as some one logs back in local PC, remote PC looses connection. This works pretty good though not as smooth as method 1. I have done PLC programming using this method. The machine that you log into can be main WinCC or a WinCC client. But please keep in mind that when you remote login to that PC, local usage is not possible ______________________________________
You need Sm@rtaccess option of WinCC flex
Link to A&D Mall Again how to get to the network is an IT issue. VPN is the preffered methos but we have even done in at a a site to directly connectDSL/Cable modem to MP and getting a Static IP from the ISP. Static IP is a must. |
