WinCC restart required for tag logging aquisition time update

CaptainFanatic Posts: 34 Rating: (2)	I am using PCS7 v6.1 with redundant OS servers and have an issue when updating aquisition times in tag logging. In the tag logging application in the OS project I have updated the "Aquisition Cycle" and "Archiving/Display Cycle" times for a tag from 1 minute to 1 second. When I download changes to the server pair I see the trend of this tag becomes a stepped line because the data points are being recorded at the new interval set in tag logging (1 second) but the value being recorded is only updated at the old aquisition cycle time of 1 minute. After restarting the server pair sequentially to prevent loss of control of the plant, the value of the tag is now updated at the new interval of 1s and everything is fine. Surely I should not have to restart the servers to update tag aquisition times! Is this a bug or is there something else I have to do?
