Hello Experts,

I use WinCC RT advaned and I want to store data on excell file with around 100 ms sample rate, but the problem is historical data only support logging cycle more than or equal 1S!!

Someone know how it would be possible to store data with faster sample rate?!

Thank you for your help.

I still have problem, as you can see on attached pic:

     Step 1: I choose logging methode: Trigger event

     Step 2: add event Log tag (this tag will change every 500ms from plc side for trigger)

      Step 3: the value that I want to store

now the Errore says the tag in step 2 and 3 should be the same ?

could you tell me in which step i made a mistake?!

For event trigger, I use a clock memory from PLC side, but when I want to add this tag to a log, I got an Error "The selected tag must be connected to a log" !

Attached you can find the error !

I think there is a small misunderstanding.

You should configure the event handling at the Tag, not at the LoggingTag.

For the LogTag systemfunction you have to select a Tag that is used with a LoggingTag.

So:

LoggingTag1 uses Tag1

Tag1 ValueChange event: LogTag - Tag1

This event is basically just a trigger, so you can add more LogTag functions to the function list. All of them has to use a Tag that has a LoggingTag.

Thank you for your help. My problem is solved.

My new configuration:

I set Logging methos for Data Logs Trigger event.

Logging tag Acquisition mode on Data on demand.

One trigger tag (Clock memory) comes from plc side. on properties of this tag from HMI side on Event-change value add log tag (the tag that i want to log)
