But regardingthisdocument both Windows Embedded Std 7 SP1 x86 and x64 are supported: https://support.industry.siemens.com/cs/ww/en/view/88360672 Can I rely on that document? Does someone have experiences with WinCC RT advanced v13.0 and Windows Emb 7? Thanks, Regards Uros

K!ke Posts: 1299 Rating: (136)	Hello, is it a SIMATIC IPC you are using? you can order these with windows 7 embedded and wincc runtime advanced pre-installed, so I think basically it's possible. I already used them without any problems, but I didn't try to install RT Advanced on a "normal" PC with windows 7 embedded, maybe they differ... K!ke

I tried to install WinCC Comfort/Advanced V13 on embedded PC. I also managed to make some demo project and it works. But the problem is with Automation License Manager. Windows could not start Automation License Manager Service. In Event log is no additional information, why windows couldn't start the ALM service. I tried to reinstall ALM, but didn't help. SIMATIC IPC, have WES 7, so I am sure that Siemens solved this situation.... and this should work without problems....
