Hello all.

I have a Simatic PC station with WinCC RT Advanced, TIA Portal 17.

If I create user administration on Simatic PC station, the buttons and input feilds, which are necessarry to be protected by password do not require the logging on - no log on window opens. I can change values without logging.

The same user administration created on KTP 700 works normally, io-fields covered by password require logging.

I guess, there could be a problem with some Windows settings in the PC station - do you have any ideas? Many thanks for help.

Finally resolved.

I did following:

Installed TIA Portal 17 upgrade 8. - no change

Installed Wincc RT 17 upgrade 8. - no change

I created new simple HMI project - one screen, one element with password protection. - function OK.

I started to copy hmi tags, screens, etc. into the new project.

As soon as I copied the screen, with password protected elements:

THE  SECURITY  SETTINGS  DISAPPEARED  FROM  THE  ELEMENT  PROPERTIES

They were present when Ctrl+C and they were absent after Ctrl+V.

So I entered them again and it started to work.
