I have TIA v17, winCC RT Pro SCADA system for CPU S7-1200 (1214DC/DC/DC). I am facing following issues, request to kindly help.

1)The SCADA system only log trends for one day only (after runtime starts). After that (next day) the trends not log and when we open the trend page, only current trend shows and previous history is not showing.

2) WinCC RT unable to stop normally. Whenever we want to stop runtime, error message shoes- "No more threads can be created in the system" or sometimes ""RPC server is unavailable".

Please help me out to resolve the issues. I have attached photo for reference only.

In this case I would check that you have activated the TagLogging process. You can check this in TIA Portal->RT settings properties->services. There you can check the services that have to be enabled when starting the runtime.

 I have checked the settings and found that both services i.e, alarm & data logging are active. Please refer to the attachment.

1) TIA v17 update 6 & WinCC RT Pro v17 update 6

2) OS- Windows 11 Pro 64bit

3) I have created the runtime file from TIA v17 & then this file is run from WinCC RT Start.

4) In archive manager folder, database are created for only one day, i.e., day when project is started.

Please refer to photos in attachment and suggest possible solutions to resolve the issue.

Which Update do you have installed in TIA V17 and WincC Prof RT V17?

Which Operating System do you use on the RT System?

Do you load the WinCC Project in RT Manager or do you only have activated the Simulation?

Check in Archive Manager folder of the Runtime if there database sebgments are created in Taglogging fast?
