Can this be done and if it can how do I do it. ceb Well all WinCC RT modules can run as services, the problem ishow to create the COM objects under the service shell. For exampleyou can execute (register) CCRtsLoader.exe /Service and you can start/stop DataManagerRT (SIMATIC WinCC Data Manager) from Services. But this service will do nothing until an application/service will CoCreateInstance CCDmRt classand open whatever project in RT (CCProjectMgr.exe job). If you really need to run WinCC RT as services (no Graphic RT) without any user logon I can provide with details but this is not approved nor supported by Siemens . Dec

When the installation goes down a UPS maintains the box some minutes and after 5-10 minutes the box it's shutdown within the UPS software. The machine it's configured to start up when the energy returns, Windows automatically logs in [1] and using the startup folder we could start a program. If you don't want to leave the computer unlocked you could set a blank screensaver at 5 minutes with password or start the program within a bat like [2]. Using a bat the computer it's locked in a very few seconds.
