Hello,

My client has a system based on s7-1500 with pc running wincc runtime professional. Everything had been working fine until hard drive in the computer broke. Computer fixed, new system installed, wincc runtime too, download runtime application backup and system doesn't connect to plc. It is possible to ping so there is a connection to plc, but no matter what wincc never connects.

Operating system: win10 up to date

I've checked already PG/PC connection. I've checked pc name. I've tried disabling firewall, but still nothing. I've tried making super small app from scratch, just for test, no success.

PLC secuti is set to full access. IP address is set exactly like in an app.

On my laptop I have absolutely no issue with connecting on the same cable and using the same app. That is why I suspect some kind of misconfiguration on the client's computer but I have no idea where I should look for the issue.

What else I can check to solve my problem?

Is it likely that when formatting later you did not install the SIMATIC NET, necessary for communication processes?
