What version of WinCC and Windows are you using ? If you have SP3 then you need to have hotfix 2 installed. It fixed a problem like the one you describe. The hotfix can be downloaded from this link : http://support.automation.siemens.com/WW/view/en/21480479 If this is not relevant then have you tried deleting the runtime data, if this is feasible ? Sometimes a corrupt alarm or tag logging database can stop runtime activating. |

Hi Duncan, Unfortunately V6 is not supported with XPSP2. You need at least V6 SP3 or SP4. You can see the compatibility matrix here : http://support.automation.siemens.com/WW/view/en/21927773 Again, these types of problems are common when using unsupported versions. Sorry. Salma |

hi duncan u try for this if u r having the previous backup ,load in pc and go to runtime hope this might solce ur problem |
