Anguraj Posts: 56 Rating: (0)	Dear Sir, Well, one of applications needs to communicate between Two WINCC SERVERS. How to do this?. Now we are having Each server with RC 64K Tags and Server license, other than this anyother license are required?. What is mean by Archive server or File server?. How to do the setting in WINCC?. ateam Bronze Member Joined: 12/8/2006 Last visit: 11/27/2023 Posts: 170 Rating: (26)	hi anguraj, ---------------------------------- (1) wincc client server ---------------------------------- you need the "wincc server lizenz" in the case only if you have a wincc project type "Multi-User Project": wincc server <==> wincc clients (multi clients) ==> I believe in your case wincc server lizence is not necessary. ---------------------------------- (2) wincc opc-da server ---------------------------------- - wincc is delivered with opc-da server ("da" means data access). -Other applications can access the the WinCC-OPC-Sever via network without additional lizenses on the wincc server. - There is no special engineering necessary on the wincc server. The WinCC-OPC-Server provides all tags of wincc data manager automatically. But!!!! - It is very important, that you configure the windows operating system on the WinCC Server (OPC Server) - DCOM-Settings - Firewall - Group Policies ==> example http://support.automation.siemens.com/WW/view/en/15049230
