Ammy Platinum Member Joined: 4/19/2008 Last visit: 9/3/2024 Posts: 1525 Rating: (159)	ny8 "when you changing PV_IN (Which is Analog Input From Filed, now Here it is coming from SIMIT as your Field) so as per the Scale Value PV_Out is also going to be change" yeah but in my project doesnt change...i mean PV_In is changing but PV_OUT is still 0. can you post the screen shot for above one, let say PV_in is having some count....

Also 16#6C00 is 27648, if you make lesser than this, then what is result.

ny8 Posts: 15 Rating: (0)	Hello Ammy I connected my input to SimPV_In (i converted it to real and use div block to change range from 0 to 100). and now is working but only in one way(from simit to pcs7). when i connect it to PV_In i doesnt work:/(doesnt matter what value i put) now i will try to play with this div block.

SH12 Posts: 10 Rating: (0)	If the PLC does not communicate to WinCC correctly, this is not linked to SIMIT. Please note that SIMIT does not connect to WinCC at all, but to the PLC only, using PROFIBUS and replacing the field. If there is a communication issue between SIMIT and the PLC, drop detailed description and required data to simit-hotline.industry@siemens.com

Posts: 3 Rating: (0)	Hello ny8 and Ammy, I was experiencing the same problem as ny8 where the quality bits were not going to zero even though I was able to write value from SIMIT to the PLC channel input. I emailed the simit-hotline.industry@siemens.comand this is what they said. "stop and restart the CPU after starting the simulation in SIMIT. his is necessary in order to get F-communication to run properly." I tried this and it seems to work for "non-safe" IO as well. I have used From Old to new Version Also & I have no problem with F I/O, Try to Ack. the CH_XX Block after the SIMIT is in Runtime. Can You also Put the QBad Code you have ?

Posts: 3 Rating: (0)	Hello Ammy, I should have been more clear, I was not having a problem with the F-IO, my problem was with the non-safe IO whose quality did not clear until I stopped and re-started the PLC. Acknowledging the F IO block cleared the quality for the safe IO. Thanks very much for your interest Ammy, Could you by chance tell me why I have to perform the 6 / 9 reset on the F IO twice before the quality resets? I thought I understood from the help that I only needed to do it once. The sequence I enter is: 6 / 9 6 / 9 By the way we have SIMIT Version 7.0.301.263 SP3 Thank you again Ammy. DF

DF Hello DF, Yes I have also do the same thing in for the Normal IO QBad, For Reset of the F I/O by F_Quit Block there is a Logic With Explanation, in the Following Manual SIMATIC Process Control System PCS7 Compendium Part B - Process Safety Page no 87 onword. but Exact the Reason Behind 6 & 9 to Ack. I also don't know......
