Yes, it can be done. Take a look @ PLCSimCOM interfacedocs and make a small VB OPC-Clientprogram that handle back and forth those I/O words between a local/remote S7-OPC Server and PLCSim.OPC Server needs a connectionto S7-200 (over Ethernet perhaps). See EM277 docsfor details on how to configure a connectionwith S7-200 over Ethernet. See Simatic NETfor S7-OPC VB Client example. See PLCSim docs for theCOM interface example. In ~ 1 hour you should be able to get the data from S7-200<-> S7-OPC<-> VB App <-> PLCSim <-> WinCC. Dec P.S. I prefer Woodhead (SST) PICS I/O Simulation. It'sthe best simulatorI've ever used. |

Thanks for sharing, Dec! I'm getting the Woodhead PICS demo now... I'll try to find some time to test it. Best regards, Danielle |

Hi, I agree with Dec and Danielle, but I prefer create my own blocks to simulate the process inside the PLC, and use a tool that I created to simuate the I/O (not applicable for analog I/O using PQW and PIW access). Is possible create a similar tool, directly in the WinCC. Ihad already discussed with another user: /tf/WW/en/Posts/6951 |
