Hallo Jaapi, of course you will not be prevented from logging in when the logon server is down. Following possibilities: 1. When using a domain concept instead of a workgroup, you will always be able to login because theuser information is replicated between the domain-controllers. 2. In a workgroup you can choose to login on the local computer instead of the configured logon server. In case the logon server is down you can login with the credentials of a local windows user. If this user's group is not configured in WinCC User Administrator he is logged in as member of the Emergency_Operator group. http://support.automation.siemens.com/WW/view/en/21979623 |
