WinCC structure Tag High System Loads Help!!!!

This is the first time I am using WinCC for development, hencefacing a lot of problem while developing. Kindly feedme with details and proper step/way doing it. billwest Posts: 510 Rating: (117)	A bitmap is diplayed through the graphic object and is static. Look for "How to configure a Status Display" in the WinCC Information System. This is probably what you are looking for. Bill

Than you see only the rectangle. Perhaps this could be a possible way. Amno

For each of the color changing elements you want to display, you will need to create a small bitmap representing the background you want to show, and naking copies of itthat must be similar in size, shape, and only differentiate from the next by the color. For a simple test, in a Graphics display: Firstcreate a small circle, fill it red.Save it as Circle_red; Use the same exact bitmap, fill it green, save it as Circle_green. Again open the same bitmap, fill it white, call it Circle_White. You will use this colored circle as a staus indicator for a motor (just for this example). Then create a tag in the PLC (integer), and program logic into it that will change the tag integer value to certain states you want to display; create a tag in WinCC that isassociated with this PLC tag. -when there is a motor alarm (or a combination of alarms), make the tag value 0 (in the PLC) -when the motor is running, make the tag value 1 -when the motor is stopped, make the tag value 2 In the Graphics Designer drag a Status display(Smart object) on the screen, right click to select the tag, the "value" and associated bitmap; -For value 0, select Circle_red -For value 1, select Circle_green -For value 2, select Circle_white Use the simulator or a PLC to test the application, you will see the Status Display "change color" as the tag value changes in the PLC. You can adapt this to any display by making a new bitmap based on your requirements. Hopethis helps, Daniel Chartier

mychinkee Posts: 14 Rating: (0)	Hi Bill, Thanks for your reply, the problem I'm having now is right after I made a custom object in the library to be used, if there is any changes on the link-prototype which I would like to apply it to let's say 200 sets, can it automatically update every set or I have to delete the existing one and apply a new one for them again? Thanks for your help!
