WinCC sum operation of 2 variable values

I wrote the following code but it doesn't work: Function action Dim 1A_CRM1 Dim 1B_CRM1 Dim CRM1 Set 1A_CRM1 = HMIRuntime.Tags("1A_CRM1") 1A_CRM1.Read Set 1B_CRM1 = HMIRuntime.Tags("1B_CRM1") 1B_CRM1.Read Set scarti_CRM1 = HMIRuntime.Tags("CRM1_1") CRM1.write 1A_CRM1+1B_CRM1 End Function Thank's you all!

Thank you. If AMPS_1 is your WinCC tag with address DB2.DBD500, you should change your script line to Set AMPS_1 = HMIRuntime.Tags("AMPS_1") instead of Set AMPS_1 = HMIRuntime.Tags("DB2.DBD500")

SMIT SHAH Silver Member Joined: 7/24/2014 Last visit: 12/4/2023 Posts: 392 Rating: (66)	In c script you can have the following way out of it Int S,H,A; S=gettagword("tag1name"); H=gettagword("tag2name"); A= S+H; Settagword("tag3name",A); And if you are supposed to show the addition in the out field then just write this script in output value c script and instead of settag line u just have to write return A; Thats all ---Smithyy
