WINCC TAG TRANSFER

Raul0905 Posts: 41 Rating: (0)	hi all, I have wincc 6.2 version package . while developing project ,I create all tags on MPI driver for easier simulation . Now i have Ethernet card and I want to transfer all my Wincc tags from MPI driver to ETHERNET driver. can anybody tell me the procedure for that and for vice versa ie. ETHERNET to MPI ? thanks in advance. Rahul.

CBo Gold Member Joined: 4/5/2006 Last visit: 1/20/2025 Posts: 917 Rating: (63)	Hi Raul0905, not sure to understand, if you are using PCS7 you don't have to create TAG manually, just "Compile OS" with right connection AS/OS. Maybe you are using WinCC ONLY (you posted in PCS7 conference). Anyway with WinCC you can just create new Ethernet connection and "cut & paste" Regards

JMJ Posts: 487 Rating: (45)	I think the tagsnot created under named connection, if it is you have to make changes in Step7. But to move tags under MPI to be moved under TCP/IP, there are two ways. Use Excel configuration tool for WinCC Cut and paste tags from MPI to TCP/IP in Tag management.
