Ates Posts: 198 Rating: (17)	Hi people, can we adjust a tag value according to an action ? for example on plc its x=1 but i want to see it always like (2x1+1) .. so can we do it in some other way then global scripting ? p.s :its not linear scaling also

Ates Posts: 198 Rating: (17)	actually it was only a question.. coz i think i made it in very old intouch scada.. takin a tag as x and giving it like f(x) .. where can i use it ? when i dont make the plc program, generally upgrade of scada or maybe when people want that a 3rd party software connection to wincc..

Danielle Posts: 1275 Rating: (123)	Well... if linea scaling isn't what you need, than you could create a script to do this. It would have to be a global script... But always remember to avoid this kind of script, 'cause if you have to do calculations on many tags you'll end up creating a bad impact on your system perfomance.
