wincc through TP177B panel?

SamyKenza Posts: 3 Rating: (0)	hello, is it possible to connect to PCL CPU 314 over TP177B Touch panel? ++++++++++ MPI +++++++++++ ETHERNET ++++++ + CPU 314 +--------------------+ TP177B +-------------------------------+ PC + ++++++++++ +++++++++++ ++++++ is this configuration possible? i want to have a scada on my pc! Thank you and sorry for my bad english :)

Hello, I suggest you to look at SIMATIC HMI WinCC flexible 2008 Runtime (from page 15). There you'll see how the process visualization software WinCC flexible Runtime is used to run the user program under Windows and to visualize the process. WinCC flexible Runtime is also used on the configuration computer to test and simulate the compiled project file. Of course for this you need license and which version of WinCC Flex you have. You can find info for this also there. regards

But if we have an thernet connection on the touch panel (mine is 177B) and an MPI connection between the panel and the cpu (here it's a 314) why we can't have access to cpu through ethernet? routing or some other process!?

Look at How do you use WinCC flexible to configure communication between an operator panel and an S7 station via S7 routing? plus How do you use WinCC flexible to transfer a project to an operator panel via S7 routing? .In this links you can find also information about which modules possess routing capability. regards
