I have installed the winnCC TIA Portal to start to develope display pages of our HHO Hydrogen generator.

I found *almost*  the all object to use for my system but I still can not find HOW to make a digital touch slider potentiometer.

On the current project I use a full complete channels LOGO8! PLC, programmed with Confort 8. External I use one 0-10V 5K potentiometers for editing in relatime the 10Kw powersupply to the Wet Cell HHO. In attachment the Logo8 POT project picture. On the Ai3 is connected the 5K Potentiometer to drive the two AQ1 and AQ2 outputs connected to the two powersupply.

Now I want to remove the analog 5K potentiometer and make all under display touch.

On the WinCC TIA portal page, I found the all controls, like the Switch, Push, Bars....but no way to find HOW to create one rotatory or slider potentiometer.

Is possible to get one example how to create this touch potentiometer and the variable to drive the AQ1 on Logo 8?

Hello Domenik,

I guess you use a basic panel for your HMI?

Some Toolbox elements like Slider and Gauge aren't available for basic panels, but for panels with better performance, like comfort panels or the runtime advanced on PC.

You could improvise with a graphic view or a graphic I/0 field beneath a bunch of invisible buttons, but that's a very un-analog solution. Only discrete values. You could also try buttons that increase your value, like

[-1] [-0,1] [-0,01]  {actual value}  [+0,01] [+0,1] [+1] ...
