Dear all.

Maybe it's very simple, but I didn't find solution yet, but is there any chance to show real numbers in WinCC (TIA Portal v15) in exponential format? 

I have saved several parameters in HMI recipes (TIA allowed me to write and save values in exponential representation), but I'm not able to see these values in recipe view or IO Field unless I make IO field with enough decimal places.

For example if I would like to show 1,0e-12 I need to create IO Field with 12 digital places. This is a complication for me because I need to make 12 dec. places for recipe view also.

what about changing the displayed "UNIT" to "picoUNIT" and scale the input value?

Hey Jiri,

only possible with WinCC RT Professional.
Change the Settings of the I/O field.

Choose as Display Format "Decimal" and as Format pattern for example "99.99e".

The I/O field of WinCC RT Advanced and Panels couldn't view expontial Format.

Thank you Frink. I think I will need to do like you sugested, but it will be very rare to use microBar, nanoBar, or picoBar unit.
