Hi, 

I have figured out how use the JavaScript to read a value from the PLC and display it in the IO field and how to do a unit conversion if the operator decides to switch units. However, I am having a hard time figuring out to script the value that the operator has entered into and IO field and do a unit conversion and writing it back to a tag ultimately sending it back to a DB address. 

Does anybody have an example of this or something similar? 

To be honest I am not even able to just get the value back to the to the PLC from the IO field with a script. I know it can be done by just putting the tag in the process value field but then I am not able to do any conversion with it.

If I understand correctly, you want to Modify a Value after Operator-Input and Write it to a PLC Tag?
If thats correct, here my suggestion.

Below the "Process Value" you can add a Sccript on "Change", means on every Value Change of the I/O Field
And write your PLC Tag on change calculated by the Written Value

Sorry for the late reply. The information you provided did help. This is just a sample project that is for reference so I will attach pictures of what I did.
