Hi! It is possible for WinCC Unified RT to act as an OPC UA client. In this post there is a lot of information at the documentation level. I could help you with the basics.

Thank you. This is helpful. But there must exist some offical documentation with examples from Siemens. I am new to Siemens PLCs (coming from c++ background) and I am quite frustrated that everything is so convoluted, bloated and hidden. I am just searching for the offical documentation, with set up guides, examples, and basic explanations to get something running. I was also unable to find any kind of online documentation like a language reference, or guide like this C++ Language Reference | Microsoft Learn |
